Motivated high school seniors can achieve their transfer goal in a timely manner by attending the UC Merced Summer Up program.

Are You Ready for Adventure?

High school seniors attending the STARS program see what it is like to be a UC Merced student, including field trips to Yosemite.

The University of California has a strong commitment to California transfer students. Nearly one-third of all undergraduates at the University of California are transfer students and UC President Janet Napolitano has made a strong commitment to increase access for transfer students within the UC.

The UC Merced Transfer Initiative Program’s mission is to increase the number of eligible transfer ready students in the Central California region through early transfer advising, intervention and increase of access and awareness of transfer resources and tools.
